WAXING

Wax is still one of the most popular methods of hair removal. It can be used on large areas of skin and for those smaller parts of the body. New hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for two to eight weeks, although some people will start to see regrowth in only a week. Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet. The treatment is performed also in men, and also in people with sensitive skin. Most commonly used is a cream-colored wax, causing minimal irritation. BEFORE: Make sure that the area which you intend to wax does not have any wounds, skin rashes, acne Do not shave the desired spot before waxing. Your hair should be at least 6 mm (1/4 of an inch) long, any hair shorter than that will not get pulled out. Trimming down the longer hair makes the treatment much less painful Patch test is essential 24 hours in advance (before first treatment).
